The modular, Award BIOS supports a broad range of third-party peripherals and all popular chipsets, plus AMD, Intel, Transmeta, VIA, and compatible CPUs from 386 through Pentium (including multiple processor platforms). With customer engineering facilities in North America, Asia, and Europe, Phoenix is always nearby to support new hardware designs and optimize time to market. You can use Phoenix's modification utilities to select and install features to suit your designs and your customers. Award BIOS continues to support standard AT-compatible features, including Legacy PC and AT interrupt-service routines and devices.

Phoenix Technologies can work with you to design the platformware required for your industrial PC products. The flexible Award BIOS supports a wide variety of commercial and industrial applications, from uninterruptible process monitoring to consumer products such as internet-ready information appliances and hand-held data-entry devices. Firmware integration can include boot software in the BIOS ROM, PC Card Services in the firmware for booting from a PC Card, or virtually any third-party BIOS extension or application into the BIOS ROM.
