Phoenix’s AwardCore is core system software designed for desktop and x86-based embedded devices. With AwardCore you can rapidly develop new hardware support, write smaller but more powerful BIOS applications, and speed up your market delivery time.

Phoenix AwardCore builds upon the established code base of the Phoenix Award BIOS. It includes common firmware features that can be easily re-used to maximize your product investment. It delivers outstanding support for the Intel vPro™ processor technology such as Intel Active Management Technology (AMT), Trusted Execution Technology (TXT), and Virtual Appliance (VA). AwardCore and Intel vPro™ processor technology integrate seamlessly to deliver enhanced security, extend manageability, and increase performance for desktop platforms.

AwardCore supports the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2 specification and fully implements key industry standards required for Microsoft Windows Vista. Supporting the TPM 1.2 specification helps ensure that malicious code cannot invade a device early in its boot process. Phoenix worked very closely with Microsoft to ensure compatibility with Windows Vista BitLocker and fully conforms to Microsoft BIOS requirements for Premium Logo Certification for systems with a TPM. AwardCore’s leverage of the Phoenix Universal TPM driver ensures compatibility with other Phoenix tools and products and allows you to select the best TPM for your application.

AwardCore is an ideal product for manufacturers of PC desktop motherboards and x86-based embedded systems that require both customizable BIOS features and support for the lastest industry initiatives.
