Designed for PC deployment and built for OEMs, ODMs and system builders, the Phoenix Deployment Kit enables cME applications and software platforms to be created on any PC even ones without Phoenix CSS (core systems software or BIOS).
The key product of the Phoenix Deployment Kit toolset is Phoenix Builder, a fully scriptable set of DOS tools that enable full unattended installs of Phoenix cME environments. The toolset contains software that creates partitions, builds and compresses images. Phoenix cME Builder is ideally suited even for BTO (build-to-order) environments with flexibility needs.
Phoenix Builder also includes .exe files that exercise the disk commands and libraries supported by the ATA 5 PARTIES specification to create a Host Protected Area on client PCs. Phoenix Builder also includes a Script Wizard that runs as a standard Windows program, so that production line professionals can easily create full DOS scripts by following a simple step-by-step wizard.
Phoenix Disk, included with the Deployment Kit, enables legacy BIOS to emulate Phoenix CSS to support full HPA capability.
The Phoenix Deployment Kit consists of Phoenix Builder, Phoenix Console, and Phoenix Disk.
