The Pre-Installation Cleanup Utility for RP6 will clean systems with previous IBM Rapid Restore or Recover Pro 2004 installations to allow for the successful installation of Recover Pro 6 on your IBM ThinkPad.

Instructions for using System Cleanup Utility
for Recover Pro 6 (SCURP6):

1. Launch SystemCleanUpUtility_20060322.exe
2. Click [Install]
3. Click [Yes] to the next two confirmation dialog boxes
4. You will get a final confirmation when to utility has completed

Note: There is no progress indicator, so wait for the dialogs to appear. The entire process takes about 1 minute.
